KOVALUS PURON® Membrane BioReactor (MBR) systems integrate activated sludge biological treatment with submerged hollow fiber ultrafiltration using 0.03 μm PVDF membranes reinforced with polyester yarn. The patented single-header principal fixes fibers only at the bottom, enabling free movement and complete central aeration scouring along the entire fiber length to prevent clogging in high MLSS environments.
