AHR (Anaerobic Hybrid Reactor), is a compact reactor in which treatment occurs with the process of Suspended Growth as well as Attached Growth simultaneously. Specially designed structured media provides large surface area for micro-organisms to grow and make colonies. AHR stabilizes wastewater into energy in the form of methane gas which is extensively used as energy source for cooking, boiler gas
application, to run generators or as a replacement for LPG. Unique feature of SBS-AHR system is use of rigid membrane called AHR membrane in place of conventional MS Hoods or RCC Dome which are prone to repeated maintenance.
